The Cox Wing at Cap and Gown opened officially on June 1, 2019 during Reunions with many thanks to the generosity of Howard Cox '64, and the many Cap alumni who have donated for this exceptional new social/dining space.
The Cox Wing is a beautiful garden-study room addition with sliding glass walls that call be fully opened on warm days, and a gas fireplace for warmth and atmosphere in the winter. The addition will be used for expanded dining for our biggest events – House Parties, Winter Formals, Reunions, Graduation. We have expanded our space below-ground as well, to comply with more stringent fire codes, and also to create a Dennis Normile Staff Room dedicated to our incomparable club manager for the past 38 years and our dedicated staff.
We are continuing to raise funds for this project through the fall of 2019, so we would love your support!
